The city of LA held it's annual gun buyback program earlier than planned in response to the Newtown shooting. Citizens who turned in guns to buyback program, via the LAPD, would receive either $100 or $200 gift cards for food. This is a no questions asked gun buyback program, and hundreds of people waited in long lines to turn in their guns.
