DesertBloom_017.jpg
A desert bloom of wild flowers in Death Valley. Heavy winter rains from el Niño helped germinate flower seeds that haven't bloomed in 100 years. The desert floor flooded temporarily with water creating a shallow lake.
Most of the flowers and vegetation will die off by late march due to heat and insects.
Lake Manly filled with 2-3 feet of water.
