Crude oil spill clean up effort at Huntington Beach and the adjacent Talbert Marsh wetlands. 3100 barrels of crude oil spilled from an offshore pipeline in the Pacific Ocean, and landed on to the beaches of Orange County.
Sea water and crude oil mixture behind a containment boom to keep it out of the marshland areas. The oil seeped past and polluted the marsh.
