Hands Around The Dome Ceremony. One year after the Hurricane Katrina disaster Community members, children, rescuers, and other people attempted to join hands and surround the Louisiana Superdome. Heavy rain and a lack of participants made the event difficult to do. They marched around the Superdome holding hands and pieces of paper with Hurricane Katrina's victims names..
