A town hall meeting was held at the Westminster Elementary School school in Venice over the recent LAPD shooting of a homeless man, Brendon "Dizzle" Glenn, in Venice. The unarmed homeless man was shot and killed during a confrontation with a LAPD officer on Windward Ave in the heart of the community of Venice. Hundreds of residents and activist showed up to the town hall to vent and confront civic and LAPD leaders over the shooting.
